Moon jellyfish glide against color-changing lights at the Birch Aquarium.
This Memorial Day weekend we decided to go visit the Birch Aquarium at Scripps for the first time in several years. In deciding to go there, we took two things into consideration: our friends’ 7-week old daughter and the presumption that the zoo would be packed. It turned out to be a great decision. Their daughter slept most of the time, and when she was awake she was mesmerized by the bright colors of the tanks.
